Description du poste
Véritable référent·e technique sur un show, le/la TD Show assure la bonne mise en œuvre du pipeline et des workflows de production sur le projet. Il/elle fait le lien entre les équipes artistiques, la production et l’équipe Pipeline afin de garantir la fluidité, la performance et la stabilité des outils en contexte réel de fabrication.
Rattaché·e au Lead Pipeline et travaillant en étroite collaboration avec le/la Superviseur·e VFX et la production, le/la TD Show joue un rôle clé dans la réussite technique et opérationnelle du projet.
Principales missions
Assurer le déploiement, l’adaptation et le bon fonctionnement du pipeline sur le show;
Accompagner les artistes dans l’utilisation des outils et workflows, et répondre aux problématiques techniques quotidiennes;
Identifier, analyser et résoudre les blocages techniques impactant la production;
Proposer des améliorations concrètes du pipeline en lien avec les besoins spécifiques du projet;
Collaborer étroitement avec les développeurs Pipeline pour remonter les besoins et valider les nouvelles fonctionnalités;
Garantir la cohérence technique et la conformité aux standards du studio;
Documenter les procédures spécifiques au projet et assurer le partage d’information.
Compétences requises
Diplôme en informatique, infographie ou expérience équivalente;
Solides compétences en Python (indispensable);
Capacité à lire, comprendre et adapter du code existant;
Développement d’interfaces avec PySide / Qt;
Connaissance de Rez et de Flow Production Tracking (anciennement ShotGrid);
Minimum 3 ans d’expérience en post-production VFX;
Expérience confirmée en tant que TD (Lighting, FX, CFX, Generalist ou équivalent) avec une forte sensibilité pipeline;
Expérience en environnement de production avec :
Maya
Houdini
Nuke
Savoir être
Forte capacité d’analyse et de diagnostic technique en contexte de production;
Excellent sens de la communication avec des interlocuteurs techniques et artistiques;
Réactivité et gestion des priorités dans un environnement contraint par les délais;
Esprit collaboratif et sens du service;
Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit;
Aisance relationnelle, attitude positive et professionnelle;
Capacité à travailler sous pression et à respecter les délais;
Excellent sens de l’organisation;
Attentif(-ve) aux détails;

Job description
As the technical point of reference for a show, the Show TD is responsible for ensuring the proper implementation of the production pipeline and workflows throughout the project. They act as the link between the artistic teams, production, and the Pipeline team, ensuring the smooth operation, performance, and stability of tools within a real production environment.
Reporting to the Pipeline Lead and working closely with the VFX Supervisor and Production team, the Show TD plays a key role in the project's technical and operational success.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the deployment, adaptation, and proper functioning of the pipeline throughout the show;
Support artists in using tools and workflows, and troubleshoot day-to-day technical issues;
Identify, analyze, and resolve technical blockers impacting production;
Suggest concrete pipeline improvements based on the specific needs of the project;
Work closely with Pipeline Developers to communicate production needs and validate new features;
Ensure technical consistency and compliance with studio standards;
Document project-specific procedures and ensure knowledge sharing across the team.
Required Skills & Experience
Degree in Computer Science, Computer Graphics, or equivalent professional experience;
Strong Python skills (essential);
Ability to read, understand, and adapt existing code;
Experience developing interfaces using PySide / Qt;
Knowledge of Rez and Flow Production Tracking (formerly ShotGrid);
Minimum 3 years of experience in VFX post-production;
Proven experience as a TD (Lighting, FX, CFX, Generalist, or equivalent), with a strong interest and understanding of pipeline development;
Experience working in a production environment using:
Maya
Houdini
Nuke
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills in a production environment;
Excellent communication skills with both technical and artistic teams;
Responsive and able to manage priorities in a deadline-driven environment;
